Replacement Of Aluminium Windows With Crittall Homelight Windows
We worked on this delightful home on the Exmoor coast and helped replace the windows with some that better matched the aesthetic.
The Project
Our customer had bought a 1930’s property in Watchet in Somerset with extensive views of the coastline and Exmoor. The existing windows in the property were not in keeping with the decor and the customer was very keen to enhance the property’s period features. They wanted to steel windows in a style similar to what would have been in place when it was built and we had just the thing.
The Chosen Product
Panoramic identified the Homelight product that the customer required and designed hardwood frames to provide the sightlines needed by the customer. We specified horizontal glazing bars to provide a finishing touch.
The Results
Panoramic completed the replacement of the bays and bathroom windows as part of a phased programme. The customer was delighted with the work and has now asked us to complete the programme by replacing the remaining windows. A third phase will encompass the fitting of French doors to the rear of the property, later in the year.
